The school in today’s society is an institution where
young people gradually learn to open themselves up to life
as it is, and to create in themselves a lifetime attitude
to life as it should be.
Seen in this light and being faithful to the Vision-Mission
of the School of “building true Filipino Ecclesial communities”
a school is not only a place where one is given a choice of
intellectual values but a place where one has presented an
array of values which are actually lived.
The ICCS, through its Family Life program, as one of the functions
of the CIE, helps develop a community whose values are communicated
through the interpersonal and sincere relationships of its
members as well as those people with whom they have close
encounter, in the family and in the community.
Objectives:
- To
help parents realize their irreplaceable duty of rearing
their children to become spiritually, morally, emotionally
and socially mature.
-
To help teachers and parents become conscious of their Christian
commitment to be witnesses to Christ in the process of helping
one another in bringing up disciplined and responsible adults.
-
To render assistance to students, teachers, staff and parents
through counseling and meaningful session on how to nurture
and/or improve relationships.
