What is child sponsor?
A child sponsor is any individual or group who are willing to pledge any amount for the special learner that will support his/her early education in a special school.
How is my pledge used?
It will be used to finance all the school expenses of the child that is necessary for his/ her rehabilitation.
How long will sponsorship last?
That will depend on you and your sponsored child. Just as your circumstances change in the same way of your sponsored child’s family. The family may leave ICCS, the goal set for the child has been achieved or the child’s family becomes self-sufficient.
ICCS will find another struggling family to help, and again you will be invited to sponsor another needy child.
How will I know about the child?
ICCS and parents responsibility to the child sponsor:
Once you had decided to become a child sponsor, you will receive a letter of introduction from the child, his/her family and latest photographs. Every year the school or parents will send you a report on the school activities and child’s progress report.
In this way, you can monitor your sponsored child and learned more about his/ her.
We also encourage you to write them. The children and their families in our sponsorship project love to hear from their sponsors. It makes them realize that somebody cares.
Where to address my letter?
