Dear Alumni/Friends of ICCS:
Special education can be differentiated from regular education by its curriculum—exceptional children need intensive, systematic instruction to learn skills that normally developing children acquire naturally. Also, some exceptional children are taught certain skills to compensate or reduce the handicapping effects of a disability.
Hence, assisting an exceptional child in his educational/ learning needs is economically draining. Aside from sending him to school, he still has to be submitted to several therapies such as: occupational, physical, and speech besides regular monitoring from developmental pediatricians and/or psychologists.

We understand the dilemma parents of special children experiences. Some of them when interviewed would say, “It is shattering and devastating.” It is for this reason, that we in ICCS SPED appeal to your kind heart to help a special child through sponsorship. We believe that the society has an equal responsibility in making life better for these underprivileged special children. PLEASE HELP!!!
